"Toys for Tots" is a well known program organized to collect and distribute toys to local kids. These children may not receive a toy at Christmas if it were not for this program.
Organized by the Salvation Army (Sheboygan and Plymouth Groups and promoted by the Marine Corp. and local media, the Sheboygan County Home Builders Association (SCHBA) members are assisting this year as well by providing additional toy collection sites.
SCHBA members in Sheboygan, Plymouth, Sheboygan Falls, and Cedar Grove have volunteered their places of business to help in this process. Please stop at a location near you to drop off a toy for distribution this Christmas.
Plymouth and Cedar Grove drop off site donations will remain in the Plymouth area with other donations distributed to children in the Sheboygan and surrounding area.
The Salvation Army asked for unwrapped, safe, toys for children ages infant to 14 years of age. The maximum cost of any one gift should be no more than $25. Gift ideas and additional collection sites can be found on the Salvation Army web site at www.SAsheboygan.org or can be obtained by calling 920-458-3723 if you do not have access to a computer.
CAsh donations are welcome as well. Please bring your donation to one of the many collection sites by Dec. 12 to allow for the set up and distribution process of the toys.
