State Certified Lead Safe Renovators

The State of Wisconsin is concerned with lead in homes built prior to 1978.  Attached is an article reprinted from the 2010 SCHBA Parade of Homes/Tour of Remodeled Homes Guide Book with more information on the new rule.  Following is a list of SCHBA members who are certified by the State of Wisconsin Department of Health Services in lead safe renovation.  These contractors are qualified to help you with your remodeling project. When hiring any contractor make sure that all their certifications and licenses are up to date and current.  Certified Lead Safe Renovators are educated in the process of clean and safe renovations.  Don't put your family at risk, hire a qualified, certified contractor. While the SCHBA believes its certified members will abide by the laws and practice lead safe work practices to the letter, ill-infrmed, unscrupulous contractors will not and this will create unfair competiion in the marketplace.  The EPA is launching a broad-based consumer awareness campaign to ensure that the general public understands these requirements. 

SCHBA members obtaining their certification  from a non SCHBA sponsored training are asked to provide a copy of the company's certificate showing that it is a certified firm and you will then be added to the list below.
